I measured bideltoid by standing with my back against a wall, marking the outside of my deltoids with a sharpie, and measuring the distance between the points with a yardstick. I did make a mistake. 90th percentile bideltoid is 21.77 inches, 95th percentile is 22.32 inches and it is positively skewed. 50th percentile is 20.04 inches and 99th is 23.35 inches. If it didn’t have such a skew, I would have guessed that the SD would be 1.42 inches which brings the percentile to around 91. But there is a skew (0.21) and the SD is smaller than 1.42 inches (actually listed as 1.28 inches), so it should be closer to 93 percentile.
Biacromial has a smaller skew and it is also subjected to less change than bideltoid.
But keep in mind that:
1. My height is only like the 75th-80th percentile, and those with broader shoulders than I have are probably mostly taller than I am, assuming that the average of shoulder width/height is a generally constant ratio with respect to height.
2. The sample was drawn from Army personnel, whose shoulders are probably broadened by muscle growth due to the military’s physical fitness requirements. False. While it’s true that she likely benefitted from minority outreach in broadcasting when she was a teenager, they didn’t know what she looked like when they invited her for interview. All they knew was she was the Queen of local black radio. As Clarence Thomsas noted, affirmative action most benefits like skinned and Caucasoid featured blacks like Obama. Thomas couldn’t even get a job after graduating from the best law school in America.

Because as I said, it was only AA in the sense that they were looking for minority talent. This type of AA even conservatives support. It was not the controversial type of AA where they lower standards.

most people are so dumb in most ways that it actually makes any shred of intellectual ability they may possess backfire on them and make them look stupider than they were if they were dumb all across the board.
the main idea behind this is if you have a very high intellectual ability and then you use it in dumb ways the consequences are much worse than if you were just average and you used it in dumb ways!
its a problem of confidence and self-esteem and grandiosity and perceptions of oneself. as individuals we seem to value ourselves more than the betterment of the whole thats why we place inherent biases into things and try to rationalize anything that hurts us away.
