People who are interested in homo erectus expect to see comments about homo erectus in a homo erectus article. They don’t want to wade through dozens of other topics to find the few on-topic comments. Limiting off-topic comments to open threads makes the blog more user-friendly.
What about people that look for off topic posts in the comments?

They cannot see the cause and effect of humans behavior leading to the theory of mind normal kids do. Density makes it impossible for them to see what is happening right in front of them, the why of what others are doing.
The density of connections has other symptoms related. They take interest in things because they can control them. Agents require connections to predict them but density creates too much noise to get the full social causality. Things have simpler causality that density of connections creates less noise allowing engagement. Too much noise and the Autistic person cannot learn. Thus things and not people.

Right after D/Trump was elected I posted a line on my fear about US dollar. Has anyone ever conducted intelligence tests by determining the memes that our Universe occupies? essentially my belief is that all sensory input is managed by our faculties by allowing our them to scan for specific memes in our environment. i think memes are just concepts like words and therefore occupy space/time as landmarks for our conscious mind to experience for more input into our universal OODA loop. if i’m not mistaken, the OODA loop was discussed a long time ago on here by philosopher and the other great minds of this great blog.

Im not worried about empirics usually. Sometimes the technology isnt there yet to measure something. But rationally there is a certain ‘just so’ ness to the universe that strikes me that something intended for organisms to exist. I remember lawrence krauss saying theres evidence in physics showing that the universe by the laws we know must always come to exist and if it didnt exist certain kinetic energies would force it into existence i.e something must have forced the big bang.

The argument is a priori not a posteriori so you only need logic to deduce God’s existence, not empirical evidence. The rest of Anselm’s premises establish this. If God only exists in the mind, then we can imagine something greater than God. But we cannot imagine something greater than God. Therefore God exists.

Its pretty obvious to me that even the idea of a universe being infinite in size or bordered by a void is a weird.
Even the idea of time is weird to me or space time. Time is physically embedded into the universe. With time, entropy can happen. And narrative.
Maybe we are looking for a plot in a human way when a hypotethical creator or designer doesnt have human type reasons for creating a simulation. It could be more similar to why a beaver builds a dam than why stephen king writes a book.
I think good and evil are human narrative devices only to an extent. Its clear to me the creator or designer has a ‘house view’ on what he wants to see more of and what he wants to see less of and what he think is bad for his science project. There is definitely a ‘house view’ and its reflected in aesthetics. All sentient organisms will teact to certain other organisms depending on their perception of another organism. And some organisms may well be more sensitive to it than others or need reasoning faculties to get a differebt sense to it.
I ve gone further and hypothesised that if there is a simulations creator there maybe a null force or something that desires ‘nothingness’ and that would be ‘evil’ in a very general sense.
Its obvious if the creator was all powerful he wouldnt have invented time because he would have created the perfect science project from scratch. The fact he invented time shows there is some limit to his powers. Or an opponent.

Good and evil are derived from action/reaction/reciprocity realities.
