According to wordpress statistics, when I founded this blog in 2014, about 9,773 unique visitors stopped by sometime during the year. At the time I wasn’t famous, so the fact that nearly 10,000 people a year were already reading my blog was a huge thrill!
Then in 2015 the unthinkable happened. A mind blogging 140,844 people read my blog! Well, I’ve peaked I thought. It’s all downhill from here.
Then in 2016 a STRATOSPHERIC 334,202 people read my blog.
I’d like to thank each and every one of you!
Happy New Year!
Congratulations Peepee
Happy New Year
happy new year PP
You have a great blog because you are a rarity in the HBD world in that you
don’t have this weird loser mentality that other HBDers have.
They all worship a certain group and except all of us white men to get on our knees and extol the virtues of that group.
When you said ” we don’t have a liberal media , we have a Jewish media ” that was complete blasphemy in the HBD world.
The typical HBD blogger sounds like the kind of guy who’s wife would cheat on him with a black guy, and then when he finds out he would say ” can i watch ? “
Congratulations. Now, can you please answer my question about Peter Schmies Word classification test?!? I’m dying for your expertise!
I’ll look into it. Sorry, I get so many emails can’t respond to them all.
Sorry for being pushy, I’m just bursting to hear an answer and I respect your opinion on IQ testing. 🙂 Take your time.
Based on the top scores and the IQ society they claim to be a part of (and judging by the difficulty of the vocab test I believe they are sincere) I estimated that a score of 175 corresponds to an IQ score of 160, and corresponds to the 75th percentile in Peter Schmies rankings. If you take 1 stdev away from both scores you get a percentile ranking of 37 in Peter’s rankings and is commensurate (roughly) with a score of 165 (because 50th is 169 and 25th is 161, 165 is precisely halfway between these two rankings) but corresponds to an IQ of 145, stdev 15.
One problem with this analysis is that I assume that Vocabulary scales perfectly with IQ, which is not the case but is not an unreasonable approximation to make. Another problem is that the IQ score of 160 comes from the entrance test to Prometheus which is not as reliable because it deals with IQ ranges well above the mean.
However, if you follow the link I emailed you the man who used to maintain the site said he was a Triple Nine member which requires an IQ of 146, stdev 15 and he got a score of 165.
Well based on the two data points you have, it sounds like
165 = IQ 146 (U.S. norms)
175 = IQ 160
Form there you could just do a linear extrapolation, though it probably wouldn’t be very reliable based on just those few speculative numbers
The simplest way to norm the test is to ask a bunch of your friends and family to take it and then ask them their SAT scores.
Convert the SAT scores to IQ equivalents and then calculate the mean and SD of their IQ equivalents.
Then calculate the mean and SD of the raw scores on Peter Schmies tests.
So for example, if the mean SAT IQ score of your friends and family is 130 with an SD of 10, and their mean score on Peter Schmies test is 150 with an SD of 8, then you could estimate that raw score 150 = IQ 130, and each 8 raw points above or below 150 equal 10 IQ points:
raw score 142 = IQ 120
raw score 150 = IQ 130
raw score 158 = IQ 140
raw score 166 = IQ 150
That’s typically how these tests are normed.
But you have to actually go and collect the data. There’s no way around that.
There is a psychologist called Jenifer wright who has been administering IQ tests for decades and she says that the highest IQ that someone can get is 148, and that anything above that is not reliable.
Another person mentioned that all of the tests (WAIS/SB/Rav) are normed on a tiny amount of people. IIRC he said that the real ceiling for those tests was 135.
After reading that i started to wonder how on earth they calculate IQ scores like 120/130/160 when there are only 60 questions?
How do you tell the difference between someone who is 130 and someone who is 131 when there are only 60 questions?
I recently took the Ravens progressive matrices test and got 58/60 but they told me that my IQ was 131. How do they get that figure?
Is IQ just one big scam ?
Can anyone answer this?
Thank you for enlightening us for another year, Pumpkin.
Happy New Year, PP!
Congrats. This is an interesting site. I follow it primarily for insights and political observations.
I am less enthused about the really funky stuff or odd notes on movies, but I love posts like
