I promised various readers I would do articles about Ted Kaczynski, the Columbine shooters and someone’s WAIS-IV results, but since I’ve been way too busy to write anything in depth, I thought for now I would write a brief article about a new movie that’s coming out about a couple that clones a Neanderthal and raises him in our modern society.
I can’t wait to see this movie, though I don’t feel like flying to New York or LA just to do so, though perhaps after this article goes public, I’ll be either sent a free plane ticket or a copy of the film itself.
I’ve been waiting for a film like this all my life so naturally I’m a bit disappointed by the trailer (oops, there goes my free plane ticket).
For one thing, his cranium is too round and Sapien-like. They should have found an actor with a really low forehead and then added prosthetics at the back of the cranium to make his cranium longer. Also his face is too flat. Only anatomically modern humans have flat faces that are tucked under the brain-case. Neanderthals were much more prognathous and looked like their faces were literally pulled out, giving them a snout. Also, he’s not supposed to have a chin.
It’s good that they cast a short actor, but I’m not sure if he’s bulky enough. I believe a Neanderthal raised in our steroid obsessed culture would have looked like Lee Priest.
Why’d they get so many details wrong? Apparently the film is directed by Tim Disney, so perhaps he got the job because of nepotism instead of ability (there goes my free copy of the movie). Walt Disney was probably the brains of the family, and by the time you get to grandnephews like Tim, there’s regression to the mean.
On the other hand, the film might be more accurate when it comes to portraying non-physical traits. Neanderthals left behind no representational art so scientists (especially Noam Chomsky) believe they were much less symbolically and linguistically gifted than we are, so the Neanderthal boy in the film takes everything too literally and talks strangely. There’s a scene in the trailer where an expert is explaining his cognitive profile, which I can’t wait to see,

The most accurate is probably the first score because these tests are normed on people who typically have not been tested before (at least I hope)

I’ve been trying to extract the genetic IQs of different civilizations and different groups of people for a very, very long time now. It seems as though Inuits and other Arctic peoples are a proxy for the intelligence of hunter-gatherers. IIRC, Arctic peoples have a cranial capacity of 1450 cubic centimeters and have IQs of 91. If that is true, then one standard deviation increase in cranial capacity, about 150 cc, would allow for a standard deviation increase in the IQs of hunter-gatherers, giving them an IQ of 106.
1600 cc being the often-cited source for cranial capacity of Cro-Magnons and Neanderthals. I’m sure they were highly VS-tilted and therefore their symbolic IQ, something that’s a novel development since the advent of agriculture, is disproportionately low. Maybe 75-85 would be my guess for any verbal intelligence they had.

Since you are me, you royally fuck up administrating it to yourself, and you think that it’d be a good idea to admin the test to yourself again. 25 decades later you realize that there is such a thing as practice effects, and you found out that similarities results in a 2.5 point increase. Now, the second time you took the test, you did not look up any answers, or think about the answers whatsoever in between testing sessions. Your score increases 10 points. Can you take away 2.5 points from those 10 points to get your true similarities score? Since you got a much higher score in the same conditions, wouldn’t it mean, that your true potential might have been underestimated? Also, what explains negative practice effects? Were they IQs of people who were overestimated the first time?

Ok, I figured the answer out. The answer is yes to an extent- if you were like most people in the 2nd retest, then you can absolutely minus the retest scores, and if your score improved. It all depends on the norming.

Yup, I did that. I practiced the Raven-like problems for a few months. Raven’s was the only way of getting into the gifted children’s program, so my parents coached me for like an entire Summer. Uncoached, from the previous year, I scored somewhere in the 70th percentile. The next year, I scored upwards of 95th percentile. Shit was cray.

Ok, I figured out the answer again (maybe), with logic. Matrix reasoning on WAIS IV have a 1 point practice effect, Ravens has a 3 point. So, if you can’t improve by much on a test supposedly having similar concepts, how can you improve if it’s different concepts.
The items on the WAIS matrix are much better. The raven relies too much on 3×3 grids that all have similar patterns. You understand one, you understand them all.
But how similar are they to the Ravens ones? Like, if you practice a bunch of raven tests, does that automatically allow you to score higher on WAIS or WISC? I mean, I just took a WISC IV one and got a 16 on it even though the highest I ever scored on a Ravens one was 122.
Apparently the ravens patterns are just variations of a couple base patterns. If you do it like a trillion times, you’d recognize those base patterns in many situations.

Ive been interviewing a bit recently and for one place they made me do a case study of a fintech firm. I haven’t really left my house in 2 years since flaming out at a Big 4 firm so was a but nervous. I’ve also gained a lot of weight.
Anyways, long story short I gave myself a lot of confidence that I still ‘had it’ by doing a great job on it. Im a bit worried my time spent being a basement troll on puppys blog and taking antispsychotics has made me dumber. I do feel slower though. Especially on doing math in my head. Sometimes people are distracted or sick or not trying the second time they’re tested, so whatever practice effect they might have had is negated by other factors

Jewish over-representation can be explained by the fact that Jews have a verbal IQ of 115, Asian verbal IQ is somewhere around 100, maybe a few points less than that, and white verbal IQ is at around 100, maybe a few points higher than that. I would wager black verbal IQ is 90-95 as well.
With all this taken into account, with standard deviations of 15, this would explain the strong presence of Jews in certain fields that require almost entirely verbal intelligence to make an impact in that field. This would also explain why blacks can make it into positions of power and why Asians have a signficant under-representation than what their full-scale IQ would imply.
Maybe Jews have a full-scale IQ of 107, but their verbal tilt gives them about a standard deviation advantage over the white IQ. And with that, three standard deviations would imply .3% of the Jewish population would have a verbal IQ of 160+. However, I don’t believe that all standard deviations in regards to race are the same, so I don’t think there’re 150,000 Jews with upwards of 160 verbal IQ assuming a population of 5 million in the U.S., but you can see how there could be a few thousand of them, at least in their verbal component.
Of course this isn’t the only reason why Jews have so much success, but is a very statistically significant reason for it, so we can’t just pass it off as nothing.

Puppy if you think Oprah, a daytime talk show host that says god tells her whether to get involved in politics or not, is an ‘elite’. Then we have totally different understandings of that word.
Somtimes I regret not being born black. Imagine if I was black. I’d never be fired and people would probably sleep outside my door to hire me. I would easily get any elite job I wanted and all my opinions would be listened to and agreed with.
I sometimes think being black in a western country is almost like winning a lottery ticket.
I also think blacks get away with crime waaay more than if a white male did it. Like Steve Sailer says, the danish media is obsessed with the great white defendant.
I sometimes even think a black person could open fire on a crowd of people and the authorities would (a) be afraid to arrest him cos its raciss or (b) explain it away by saying he had bad parents/education etc and make him do community service.
If blacks are such a privileged class, explain why they’re only 0.5% of the Forbes 400 despite being 13% of America? Meanwhile Jews are 2% of America & 35% of the Forbes 400. Why are blacks nearly 50% of the homeless. Are you going to pull a Peterson and say IQ explains it all?
No. What if I said being 0.5% of the forbes is actually wayyyy over representational of blacks taking into account other non IQ factors.

An ‘elite’ is someone that can directly influence the lives of other powerful people or millions of other normies. Im not talking about introducing them to a new cooking recipe.
By playing THE decisive role in the 2008 presidential election, Oprah influenced the lives of BILLIONs of people. She also created confession culture, got millions of people to read literature, mainstreamed taboo topics like gays & led millions of sexual abuse survivors to recovery.
She was elected one of the 10 most worshipped people in US history & is many times richer than the other nine COMBINED. At her peak she was watched by 12 million Americans a day, most of whom were in the coveted white suburban female demographic. At her peak every book she endorsed became a bestseller, every politician she endorsed got elected, every talk show she backed became a hit & when she eschewed hamburgers, beef prices hit record lows triggering a law suit by the beef industry.
You’d have to be s complete moron to deny Oprah’s an elite. She’s arguably the most influential woman on the planet & was for years the world’s only black billionaire

So this MP shared a picture on social media of a house draped in English flags and she made a comment that the people that lived in it must be idiots.
As someone who actually has a father who is a legit idiot in the clinical sense, patriotism is NOT a personality trait of people with really low IQs. If anything people with really low IQs are MORE tolerant of diversity and idiosyncrasies within people.
