The comment section is getting really ugly and off-topic so I’ve decided to no longer allow personal attacks against anyone here (with the rare exception of attacks against me, if it’s something I feel compelled to respond to). If I have time or if the comment is otherwise good, I may publish the comment with the personal attack redacted, but if I’m busy I’ll just moderate the entire comment.
No more personal attacks in the comment section

don’t let me ruin the fun
It’s not fun for me to watch my readers attack each other, even in jest. I want you all to be friends.
Oh c’mon, be serious PP.
I think Pumpkin is serious
A 10 yo child spotted a mistake in london natural museum identification of a dinosaur. The child started reading encyclopedia about dinosaur since 3 yo. It is not always bad to be an asperger. It is not really an insult.
But the insistance maybe annoying. You are right.
Do we know that the kid had aspergers? 20 years ago people would have just said he was an extremely gifted child but today we pathologize him as disabled. Sad.
The parents said that. I supposed they have a formal diagnosis. You’re right to think it is horrible for the parents to tag their children that way in the press. It will stick to him even if one day, one can “cure” asperger syndrome. I didn’t see this aspect at all.
