In the late 1980s Notisha Massaquoi (who was pretty cute I must say) was the only black student in Rushton’s psychology class at the prestigious University of Western Ontario. In an interview with the fabulous CBC, she states:

The big day came when Rushton started to reveal what we then come to find out is his theory of racial inferiority and which he proclaimed that we were ranked intellectually with Asian people being more intelligent than whites and Blacks being more or less intelligent than white people.
A student asked at that time, ‘Is this always the case? Can we always guarantee that this will be the case?’ And he then turned to the class and said there is some variation except if you are Black. If you are Black, you are genetically inferior and intellectually inferior to all other races.
WTF? Was Rushton trolling his own students? I know for a fact Rushton believed these putative differences were only on average and that there was genius in every race, so why would he say such a thing?
Maybe he meant that all the black ethnic groups averaged low, while among white and East Asian ethnic groups, there was overlap (e.g. Jews, despite being Caucasoid, are smarter than virtually all Mongoloid ethnic groups), or maybe he was intentionally trying to brainwash his students into feeling superior to even the brightest blacks, or maybe she’s just misremembering what he actually said.
Unless other witnesses from that time period come forward, we may never know.

Reading a piece in the Economist’s newsletter about critical race theory. I used to think this thrash was something dolts like Melo cooked up after spending 5 minutes sniffing glue in a bathroom but the theory is actually quite interesting. It basically says whites have been doing their hardest not to give blacks equality and the guy mentioned how schooling is still de facto segregated as an example years after Brown v Board of Education.
If this is the theory then there is some truth to it. Whites are very reticent to live alongside blacks or marry into black families (whats left of black families these days). Its also true that most government economic policy of the last 40 years since Reagan hasn’t helped blacks but then I would argue it hasn’t helped poor whites or gentiles in general.
Anyways it would be interesting comparing treatment of whites towards minorities like native americans vs blacks.

White privilege exist but varies enormously among white people. I can say that it’s way less worse to be verbally insulted via racial slurs than to be economically deprived and many white people are in the second daily life situation. Historically speaking, white people or working class has been harshly exploited by “their” elites. I’m talking about like at least half of population in countries like France specially before french rev but also after. It’s indeniable that black african-descent people has been historically “discriminated” (euphemism) but the poor, minority if sexual/behavioral, ideological or by health condition (like being disable) and also the women who are white no have had a great past of joy and privilege. Today the Black people who have a good middle class standard living are more privileged than most of the poor and low middle class whites.
Even about verbal racially discrimination, i know racism is always condenable but it’s doesn’t mean people discriminate by no reason because they or we perceive patterns that look more common among certain groups and jump to make causal associations and this is the major problem. The problem is not necessarily when a bad behaved black person is at least insulted and often by racial slurs. It’s when a decent rational and or empathetic black person is treated in the same way because it’s unfair OR untrue. Assholes deserves what they incit. In the end of say all human racial groups don’t deserve be treated so kindly. Its just a matter of be reciprocal. But individually speaking, this possibility become more complex to be easily adopted. We need highlight the good and bad things all human races or ethniciities have done and always highlitghting exceptions. That’s why a white guy calling jews as a dishonest or hypocrite group sound dumb not because many jews behave like that but because many white people do the same and often that guy as well.
Again about white privilege, it’s always significantly associated with class privilege. No just empoverished white people has been analogously enslaved by their own elites (common pattern in complex societies) but some people like the irish has been marked to be. The middle class and the working class whites as well of people of other racial grouos often work too much and receive not exactly perfect good salaries. Vou know. People don’t receive the money purely based on what they do or based on their contribution. The racism chart to divide people is very well used by evil elites now by “progressive” ones…

I can be more privileged than a working class black man in my country because i can from a middle class background, because my parents give me all support, because people look at my fair skin and think i’ m immediately trustworthy. But this is an isolated comparison because i have lots of things that make me less privileged and no doubt i’m not more privileged than a rich or aflluent middle class black brazilians or americans. Social class encompass all other issues.
