Howard Gardner argued that there was not one, but seven different intelligences. Each one can be exemplified by a historical Genius who changed the trajectory of history:
Logical Mathematical

Newton, revolutionized math, physics and astronomy
Verbal

Shakespeare: Wrote beautiful things
Spatial

Wright Brothers: Turned humanity into a flying species
Social

Oprah: Led millions of sexual abuse survivors to recovery, mainstreamed discussion of taboo topics like gays, got millions of couch potatoes to read literature, and put a black family in the White House
Intrapersonal

Buddha: helped us find inner peace
Musical

Mozart: created the world’s greatest music
Bodily-kinesthetic

Bruce Lee: despite being short and slim and coming from a population with slower movement speed, was able to physically defeat anyone on Earth.
One intelligence or many?
If there are seven different intelligences, why do IQ tests mostly just measure the first three (or four) with some only measuring the first?
As my high school Chemistry teacher told me so many years ago, “when you talk about intelligence, there are so many different parts to it…if you want a single umbrella to cover all of intelligence” (stretching out his arms to convey the vastness of it, “then it’s the ability to adapt: to take whatever situation you’re in, and turn it around to your advantage. That’s really what intelligence is”
Those words are burned into my brain.
So it’s mostly the first half of these intelligences (logical, verbal, spatial and perhaps social) that have helped us adapt as a species and turned the World to our advantage. Without the logical ability to create science, the spatial ability to create technological and the verbal/socal ability to communicate, we’d still be in the stone age. The other intelligences are useful, but perhaps not as much as the first three or four, so it’s not surprising that the Wechsler IQ tests have empathized logical-mathematical ability (Arithmetic, Matrix Reasoning, Figure Weights), verbal ability (Vocabulary, Similarities), spatial ability (Block Design, Object Assembly) , social understanding (Comprehension, Picture Arrangement). Only one subtest measures bodily-kinesththetic (Digit-Symbol), and none have ever measured intrapersonal or musical talents.
And notice that the most useful abilities seem to load most on the general factor of all cognitive abilities known as g. Perhaps g is simply how much of the brain an ability uses, and the abilities using more of the brain must have been useful or expensive brain mass would not have evolved to support them.
And the most g loaded ability of all is abstract reasoning and that’s also the most adaptable because the abstract transcends the specific context and allows you to solve a problem in universal form. Knowing one apple plus one apple equal two apples allows you to thrive in the orchard. but knowing x + y = z allowed us to leave our African Garden of Eden and reach for the starts.
If you’re good at math, then you are good at logic, and it you’re good at logic, you can be good at almost everything, because the universe is intrinsically logical.

What is ‘bigotry’?
(‘Racism’)
What is ‘racism’?
(‘bigotry’)
Did these concepts exist before the 20th century?
(no)
Why do these concepts exist now?
(Jews)
Is being instinctive ‘morally wrong’
(Does the lion question why it must hunt the zebra?)
One of the first polio vaccines didn’t exist before the 20th century and was invented by a Jew too. What’s your point, pill?
He no have a one point.
I’m of the belief that the self-righteous feel-good-ism we see today has its roots in 19th century northern Protestantism. Check out northern abolitionist literature sometime. It’s virtually indistinguishable in tone from “hate watch” articles on the SPLC site. Accusations of racism aren’t a uniquely Jewish invention.
Damn, smart guy.
Does it ever occur to you that there is something genetic about jewish personalities that make them rich and powerful?
[redacted by pp, feb 27, 2019]
Ethnic groups differ genetically, but there’s so much variation within them that only a moron would think all Jews are the same. And even if they were, only a moron would be untactful enough to say it. You’re a useful idiot for the very Master you decry. If you didn’t exist they’d have to invent you. Maybe they did.
And are you really so naive to think only Jews have achieved wealth and power nefariously & that whites have dominated the Earth for centuries by being 100% moral and pure?
this blog really does make me drink too much. so do all hbd blogs.
Pumpkin, how “linear” is the arithmetic subtest? Is it like digit span in which if you get the harder items, that means you have the capacity to get slightly easier items, and if you don’t, it comes from other external factors and not capacity?
It’s not linear, but that has nothing to do with your second question. If you get hard arithmetic questions, then you almost certainly have the working memory capacity to get easier ones, though some questions emphasize comprehension more than working memory
Actually I have a friend who I gave the same arithmetic test to twice. Both times he got the exact same score (1 question wrong) but it was a different question each time. So clearly he had the ability to answer every question correctly but for some reason couldn’t answer them all correctly in one sitting. And failing just one question made the difference between scoring +1 SD vs +2 SD!
That happens with the SAT. People will score a verbal 800 & math 790 the first time, & then a math 800 & verbal 790 the second time. Sometimes they’ll combine their best math with their best verbal & claim 1600 even though they never made 1600 in one sitting. Chuck schumer allegedly did this according to Steve Sailer
That’s very curious. Did he have any anxiety or concentration issues?
Yes, like I’ve said Pumpkin, I scored a combination where my math was 530 and my reading was 730 and then on my third attempt, flipped it around to 730 math and 710 verbal.
This is from a kid who couldn’t read before the age of 7.
peepee should never have banned afro even if he’s not a real people.
I wanted him here to balance out the racists but his comments were so provocative they ended up creating more racists so I permanently banned him (after giving him a second chance)
Because racism is EVIL
QED
Real racism is evil. But most of the stuff that gets labeled racist is not.
this is the internet. pill has said many times he’d never say what he really thinks to anyone who might use it against him. how do you think the nazis talked to one another about jews? “tact” is the wrong word. the difference is ideology. just say his opinion is stupid.
when people are anonymous they don’t have tact, and then you see how these HBD opinions and prejudices can shape a society and its propaganda even when it’s “tactful”.
Ok, forget tact. It’s stupid to blame all Jews for the behaviour of elites. It’s like blaming all muslims for alqueda. It’s the kind of stupidity that led to the war in iraq.
Like I said in the comment you moderated, youre not getting the analogy at all. I agree with the part about muslims and 9-11.
I get the analogy, but two wrongs don’t make a right, & white privilege exists, or at least it did until the 90s.
But I agree that the media has a double standard because they go ballistic if anyone mentions Jewish privilege.
Jews and its intelectual/political/economic mafia can be compared with sicilians and its political/economic mafia.
Mafia influence tend to become bigger in its dominated community when it no have any opposite force fighting back and tend to influence all community by blackmail, using the opportunistics [naive and clever-suckers] and shut up the discordants and/or the apolitical sub-groups, specially when the mafia is, supposedly, working for the community.
In the end of day, jews basically play with the bigger european acchiles heel, their irrationality or lack of wisdom… So it’s easy to divide and to corrupt them. What make european grandiose often make them mad, and i’m not talking about current leftism, because the problem is not the universal morality but exactly the lack of ponderation… always a fundamental problem.
I love the “woke” Pumpkin
Having jimmy disappear was also unfortunate. He didnt even comment that much, so he probably would have interesting things to say.
”White europeans” used the same tactic to conquer Americas from Pre Colombian Civilizations, divide and conquer… Maybe it’s the ”pathological altruism”.
“coming from a population with slower movement speed,”
Source?
The source is reaction time studies cited in Rushton’s book. Blacks had the fastest movement times but East Asians had the fastest reaction times
All thoughts are inherited by our ancestors, during the early age of mankind. Does anyone believe in the “Stoned Ape” theory?
Rap videos display a graphic amount of violence in their videos. But the violence is key. Violence s a display of ultimate domination. That’s how the Universe works.
Which race has the greatest hive mind? I think its whites. Hands down.
You know one thing I learned about whites are that they love each other more than anything in the world. They value their culture and are not willing to change it for anyone. So that’s admirable.

I pioneered everything on this blog. So can’t wait till PP put me on his top 100 influential people. no cap.
I thought if you’re Iluminattikitty, is you*
Y’know, I have a really good theory about how extroverted people tend to be bored all the time, receive a spurt of dopamine, and end up becoming psychopaths.
Me, but i’m mostly introvert.
Self-controled psychopath otherwise regular psychological literature, seems have higher self awareness, but ..
Do an intelligence report of me next, Pumpkin. I’ll donate to a charity of your choice.
Has anyone noticed how much clothing affects peoples’ perceptions of you? First rule of aesthetics doesn’t even exist.
Hey Pumpkin, I argue that the concept of ‘intelligence” only exists in the abstract, like power or love or happiness. For example, we only see symbols of love, people holding hands, power, a man in a suit, happiness, a babies smile. The chemical reactions for these emotions are fleeting and non perpetual. thus “true love” equates to everlasting love and “exists” but only in the abstract as an unattainable goal we strive for, because our minds are inherently connected to the abstract world thru our thoughts.
We see intelligence symbols all the time, also we see mathematical symbols. I mean have you ever seen 5 just laying in the street?, of course not its an abstract concept symbolized by the shape 5.
let me give an example for how IQ tests cannot measure “true intelligence” only its symbols, its lesser forms, its proxies.
Imagine walking into the doctors office. The doctors says ” hey Pumpkin wow good news the tests are in. Now we can’t tell you your exact height however we do know your taller than 74% of the general population. Impressive!”
Pumpkin says, “wait can’t you just ya know, pile stones, on top of each other, next to me and count the stones?”
The Doctor says ” No Pumpkin we cannot, because we do not know exactly how tall the stones are, only that some stones are taller than others.”
Pumpkin 0.0……..-.-
Measuring intelligence thru IQ tests is the same as the above scenario. They obviously measure…… “Something”. Its clear as day after all this research, IQ tests primarily measure logical reasoning, learning capacity, and learning speed. However all of these are proxies for the abstract concept of “true intelligence” that cannot ever be truly measured for we would need an completely abstract measuring tool, an completely abstract IQ test, only taken within the context of the test takers mind.
Alex Jones is back on JRE. He wore earbuds this time 🙂
Puppy said bigotry is “everything he has ever stood against”…..
Pumpkin, would getting harder questions on the arithmetic subtest also mean that you have the math reasoning skills to solve the easier ones right, whether you do or not?
Not necessarily because there are different types of math reasoning
I mean, between the multiplication and division problems.
Rahul, how long does it take you to reason out your questions? You’re thinking everything I wanna be thinking about.
Like 2 seconds. Half the time it comes from me testing myself, and fucking it up completely. Lol, my most recent fuckup I figured out was the ‘rithmitic subtest. Lol.
Pumpkin, if you figured out the math reasoning skills later (by yourself, without any help), would your arithmetic score be technically underestimated, since you have the reasoning ability. I mean, you can’t just randomly get the reasoning no matter how hard you think about it.
possibly but all you can go by is your score on the test because that’s what’s been normed. You can always say my score would have been better if x,y or z, but the same may apply to others in the morning sample, so unless you’re willing to test everyone under the optimum condition, you have no norms to compare yourself.
You should take the Ron Hoeflin tests. They’re designed for & normed on people who take all the time they need & spend months or even years figuring out the problems
Lol. You’re right. You can only assume, but assumptions, while reasonable a lot of the time because you can logic it out, are still at the end of the day assumptions.
I’d think that even if you did norm the sample after some time trying to figure out the reasoning, you still wouldn’t get much of a change, because the Arithmetic subtest is testing fluid ability- but again, it’s only an assumption.
I’d love this Ron Hoeflin Test. I make connections after tests a lot, in real life too, so I’ll give it a shot.
And don’t obsess too much about your IQ. The best way to know what you’re capable of is to actually try, so instead of wasting a lot of energy obsessing about whether you’re smart enough to learn something, just go out & try to learn it. Even if you fail you’ll have learned something about the subject & a lot about yourself.
1st impressions- the Ron Hoeflin Test is hard as hell, but that’s a given since you have forever.
Ok, why the hell is Visual Puzzles timed and matrix reasoning isn’t. Are they now randomly choosing what tests to tie and not based on not wanting to have the test session go on forever. What about the Arithmetic subtest too? I mean, if you don’t got them workin memory, it wouldn’t matter how much time you spent.
*and based on not wanting the testing to go on forever.
Pumpkin, how likely is it that someone can develop the numerical reasoning ability needed for the arithmetic subtext, by themselves, without any help for someone?
Pumpkin, how the fuck do you develop the ability to be able to read for a long no stretch of Time?
Pumpkin, how different are wisc and wais matrix reasoning items compared to ravens items? Even if you practice and get a lot of ravens questions, how much of that practice effect will transfer to wisc or wais?
interesting to come back to a really good article here! lots of interesting comments! its like time traveling!
