(AP photo, Evan Vucc)According to Henry Louis Gates, 89% of Oprah’s DNA is sub-Saharan, but perhaps less than 51% of Obama’s is, so while Obama is the most powerful person on Earth, Oprah’s still the World’s most powerful black
President Obama is arguably the most powerful person on the planet, and he’s black, except he’s not black by HBD standards. Scholar J.P. Rushton wrote:
Yes, to a certain extent all the races blend into each other. That is true in any biological classification system. However, most people can be clearly identified with one race or another. In both everyday life and evolutionary biology, a “Black” is anyone most of whose ancestors were born in sub-Saharan Africa. A “White” is anyone most of whose ancestors were born in Europe. And an “Oriental” is anyone most of whose ancestors were born in East Asia. Modern DNA studies give pretty much the same results.
I would probably include people whose ancestors were born in Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Andaman Islands is my definition of black since they have genetically preserved the phenotype of sub-Saharan Africa despite having evolved separately for tens of thousands of years.

But the key point is that most of Obama’s ancestors were probably not born in Sub-Saharan Africa, only about half of them were.
HBDer Michael Levin is even more precise:
Hybrid populations with multiple lines of descent are to be characterized in just those terms: as of multiple descent. Thus, American Negroids are individuals most of whose ancestors from 15 to 5000 generations ago were sub- Saharan African. Specifying ‘most’ more precisely in a way that captures ordinary usage may not be possible. ‘> 50%’ seems too low a threshold; my sense is that ordinary attributions of race begin to stabilize at 75%. An individual, half of whose ancestors are East Asian and half Caucasian, is to be categorized as just that, of half northeast Asian and half Caucasian ancestry. Nothing in continental cladistics precludes mixed ancestry, any more than the concept of a breed of dog excludes mixtures.
So if Obama is not black by HBD standards, has any black been the most powerful person in the World at any time in history? The key word is history. In prehistoric times, when all humans were phenotypically Negroid, the most powerful person must have been black, because all humans were black, but that doesn’t count.
Has any self-made woman ever been the most powerful person in the World at any time in history? Queen Isabella I was arguably the most powerful person on Earth in the 15th century and Queen Elizabeth I was probably the most powerful person on Earth in the 16th century, but neither of these women were self-made. They inherited their thrones from male family members.

Elizabeth I was arguably the most powerful person on the planet in the 16th century, but she wasn’t self-made
If Hillary Clinton becomes the next President of the United States, she will join the exclusive club of women who reigned as most powerful person on the planet, but like Isabella I and Elizabeth I before her, Hillary inherited her power from a male family member. In her case Bill Clinton. So even if Hillary gets elected, the human species will maintain its perfect record of never having had a self-made woman be the most powerful person on Earth.

Queen Isabella was arguably the most power human on Earth during the 15th century, but again, she wasn’t self-made
According to scholars like J.P. Rushton and Richard Lynn, blacks and women have smaller brains and lower IQs than non-blacks and men. These differences may help explain why no black has ever been the most powerful person on the planet, however the IQ differences between men and women are too small to explain why no self-made woman has ever been the most powerful person on the planet. Thus men likely used their physical superiority to keep women in their place and no woman has ever been smart and ambitious enough to overcome this barrier without being attached to the patriarchy as wife, daughter, or sister of a ruling man.
The only self-made woman and the only black who has come close to being the most powerful person on Earth has been Oprah, who for years reigned as the billionaire Queen of all Media and kingmaker to Obama’s presidency, but she was born with a freakishly large brain size which helped make her especially smart. I estimate her IQ to be an incredibly high 140 (smarter than 99.5% of white America and very similar to Obama’s IQ and Hillary’s IQ), which allowed her to become the most successful member of her race and her gender. Had her IQ been even higher still (150 instead of 140), she might have made the leap from Presidential king maker to President. By contrast 140 is enough for Obama to have become President because he had the advantage of being half-white and male, and 140 is enough for Hillary to become President because she had the advantage of being white and inheriting power from her brilliant and charismatic husband Bill (who is probably also around 140). Though some would argue that being white is no longer the advantage it once was.

If Hillary gets elected President, she’ll be the most powerful person on Earth, but because she inherited much of her power from Bill Clinton, Oprah could arguably remain the World’s most powerful self-made woman.
The laws of probability suggest that if the human species survives long enough, eventually a black or a self-made woman will emerge as the most powerful human on Earth, but if it requires genetic engineering for this to happen, it doesn’t count.
The list of historical figures who could be considered self-made by American or Canadian standards is pretty minuscule is it not? Social status has been far more heritable for most of the history of the history of civilization. The concept of “self-made” is also a recent invention.
While the percent of elites who are self-made had certainly increased in the last couple decades (at least if the Forbes 400 is a barometer), I wouldn’t say it was ever minuscule worldwide. History is full of people from ordinary or even humble beginnings who rose up to positions of great power: Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Jesus of Nazareth,Ray Kroc, the Prophet Muhammad,John D. Rockefeller,Henry Ford, Hitler, Andrew Carnegie. The list goes on and on.
typical indoctrinated fucktard.
there has always been capitalism, and there have always been self-made rich, from ancient greece and rome to the present.
In response to Pumpkin, I was referring more to ancient history rather than US history, and by historical figures, I meant people who could be considered the most powerful person MPP in the world. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear.
Chartreuse, of course there are some self-made historical figures, but regulated capitalism is much friendlier to economic mobility that ancient proto-capitalism. And didn’t you watch good will hunting? https://youtu.be/azM6xSTT2I0?t=129
Can you name any pre-industrial MPP who were self-made?
I can think of a few contenders so there maybe be a couple actually:
Rasputin (borderline pre-industrialized)
Various religious figures (apocryphal)
Roman emporer Diocletian (early life disputed)
Pope Callixtus I (probably not the most powerful)
There are more, but it’s really an issue of who has been in charge of the world for the last few hundred years since the economy has become liberalized.
Mitochondrial eve was undisputedly the most important human alive at the time, though I’m not sure you could characterize her influence as “power”. And maybe she inherited her social status.
the contemporary british aristocracy is mostly the descendants of tradesmen.
genuine feudalism has been dead since the 13th century.
Again the spectrum of REAL or COMPLETE self made …. to Donald Trump.
Oprah work in tv company. The man who built the company where she works was a self-made.
Oprah came from poverty, but this does not prove that she is a complete self-made woman, because she would have to have built up their own business and prospered by it. And it was not the case because she began within a company, and presented all the features, perfect, and the ideological, political, Semitic context, so it could be the host of tv, black, most popular of Murrica.
Oprah work in tv company. The man who built the company where she works was a self-made.
Actually Oprah created a company too. It’s called Harpo productions. And whether or not you created the company has nothing to do with it. The people who work for a company often contribute more than the people who start it.
Of course no one is 100% self-made, but Forbes magazine gives billionaires self-made scores of 1 to 10. Anyone with 6 or higher is considered self-made. Oprah gets a perfect 10. They write:
After extensive research and internal discussion, we came up with a set of parameters to determine whether someone was born with a silver spoon, or if he (or she) had to battle wrenching personal and family obstacles to win a spot on our list. At the most basic level, the scores denote who inherited some or all of their fortune (scores 1 through 5) and those who truly made it on their own (6 through 10).
We looked carefully at these billionaires’ upbringing, paying special attention to their parents and their socio-economic status. To merit a score of 10, a member of the Forbes 400 would have to have been born into poverty, or lower middle class, and had to overcome obstacles such as being left an orphan, forced to work low-paying jobs, or faced abuse or discrimination. Oprah Winfrey, who grew up dirt poor, raised alternately by her single mom and her grandmother, and was sexually abused by several male relatives, and George Soros, who survived the Nazi occupation of Budapest, fled Hungary under Communist rule and worked his way through the London School of Economics as a railway porter and a waiter, are prime examples of what a 10 represents.
A score of 1 represents a member of The Forbes 400 who has inherited a fortune and hasn’t actively worked to increase it. Two examples: Christy Walton, who inherited part of the Wal-Mart forune after her husband John (Sam Walton’s son) died; and Laurene Powell Jobs, a philanthropist and activist who has very publicly taken on causes like education reform and immigration policy but who is not working to make herself richer.
