A reader sent me some emails which I’m publishing with his permission. His comments are in block quotes with my replies below.
Hi, I had a psychologist administer the WAIS-III test (along with several other tests including on for ADHD) IN 2006 when I was in law school, and my interest in the results was rekindled by your blog…
Here are his test results (click on image for larger view):
I was wondering if you’d be interested in interpreting the results and helping me figure out how to maximize my strengths and mitigate my weaknesses in order to maximize my income and status.
I am interested but you should know I’m not a psychologist or trained professional in any capacity.
Two facts that might pique your interest: first, I answered the series of questions you developed for estimating IQ, and the results exactly matched my full-scale IQ test result (132), … second, the psychologist stated that only 2.6% of the population has a disparity between Verbal Scale IQ (139) and Performance Scale IQ (116) as significant as mine.
It is rare to have such a large split but it’s not rare for someone with such an extreme verbal IQ. Assuming about a 0.7 correlation between verbal and performance IQ, the average person with a verbal IQ of 139 would have a performance IQ of 0.7(139 – 100) + 100 = 127 and about 15% of them would have Performance IQs of 116 or less. That’s just basic regression to the mean…
Additionally, she said that these scores represented low estimates of my IQ, as this disparity reflected attention deficit and anxiety issues that would disrupt my ability to concentrate and focus.
But the same problems that prevent you from reaching your potential on an IQ test could prevent you from reaching your potential in life.
I’d really like to understand how I can elevate my circumstances. My verbal iq is in the top .5% of the population, and my full scale is in the top 2%. According to you, I should be earning a fuckload of money. I firmly believe I should be doing so. But I need to shore up my performance weaknesses and learn how to optimize my efforts in a pragmatic way based on my scores…
Actually what I’ve stated is that the average self-made billionaire has an IQ around 130, but that’s not the same as saying the average IQ 130 is a billionaire or even a millionaire. The correlation between IQ and money is about 0.4, which means someone with better than one in a million financial success will typically regress to about the top 2% when it comes to IQ, while the average person who is in the top 2% of IQ will regress to around the top 25% in money. Regression to the mean implies that rich people are typically much less smart than they are rich and smart people are typically much less rich than they are smart. This chart I made shows the median incomes of Americans in their early thirties at different IQ levels:
I tend to think that if my performance and verbal scores were reversed, I’d be far better off.
Not really. You attended law school so presumably you’re in a field that requires verbal ability, not spatial talent. Second of all, if you look at Forbes list of the 400 richest Americans, Ashkenazi Jews (verbal IQ > Performance IQ) are vastly more over-represented than East Asian Americans (Performance IQ > Verbal IQ), so your cognitive profile seems quite typical of billionaires. The problem is millions of Americans have your cognitive profile, while only several hundred can be billionaires.
I have numerous questions. Do my scores mean I’m condemned to simply be in the top .5% of human bullshitters, yet nothing special when it comes to putting any of my talents to practical use?
No. For starters, of all the scores you provided, the best predictor of your success and productivity is probably your overall IQ, and not any specific strengths or weakness, because your overall IQ best reflects g (general cognitive ability) and g influences all conscious human behavior and predicts your functioning in countless domains not measured on any IQ test. Secondly, being a bullshitter is of practical use in today’s society if you want to acquire money and status. Thirdly, your highest score was on a subtest called Comprehension which David Wechsler himself (author of the Wechsler intelligence scales) described as a measure of practical knowledge and social judgement so you should be especially good at maximizing strengths and minimizing weaknesses.
What does this get me in life? Does their substantial disparity explain why I’m a better songwriter than performer? Why I’m better at ideation than execution? Why I’m a better test-taker than student?
You understand the implications of your scores quite well which makes sense because your highest score was on the Comprehension subtest.
And am I stuck this way, or can I somehow use my superior abilities to elevate my weaker ones?
You can use them to compensate for your weaker ones.
For which professions would I be well-suited?
Your best scores are Comprehension, Vocabulary and Similarities. Similarities requires the ability to organize and categorize your thoughts, and as I said above, Comprehension requires practical social understanding. These two strengths combined with Vocabulary suggest you’d be good in media or politics. However you were only somewhat above average on the Picture Arangement subtest which measures the ability to visually interpret social situations. This relative weakness combined with anxiety and attention problems suggests broadcast media or politics might be challenging and you might be better off in print media/writing. Of course, it’s important not to over-interpret sub-test scatter (much of which is just caused by unreliability in the test). It’s also important not to over-emphasize cognitive ability. You’re above average in every subtest on the WAIS-III, and especially above average in overall IQ, so your real challenge is finding a field that you’re passionate about.
Is there anything I might do to minimize the anxiety and concentration issues she references?
When I suffer from anxiety, I try to imagine the worst case scenario and get comfortable with it.
Really, I just want that ten-trillion-dollar company my full-scale IQ seems to promise me. Or how bout just a paltry billion?
Even though your IQ is extremely high…higher than probably 50% of self-made billionaires, the average self-made billionaire not only has extreme IQ, but exceptional opportunities, special talents, drive, passion, certain personality traits, and that X factor. Given that IQ only explains 16% of the variation in income, you would need an IQ of 278 just to have a 50% chance of becoming a billionaire. So you can’t be a billionaire, but if you work hard and play your cards right, you might become a multi-millionaire.
When personality interact with cognition this natural event will produce a ”cognitive” ( + intelectual) profile.
Iq discrepancies seems a marginal trait of adhd-extreme personality.
I really doubt that just 2,6% of population have higher discrepancies in iq scores. Ashkenazis??? Humanities students versus stem students ( and transcendentalists) ???
Psychologists work with lack of self-knowledge of most people. Self-aware people know they need first their rights to live. Extreme self-aware know what your weaknesses and strenghts. People who put their obligations are called slaves ( different than slaverized). This unilateral technocratic ”meritocracy” where specially those who symmetrical and technical cognitive profile are selected cause intelectual suffering for people who no have this cognitive synmetricity.
If the constitution ”guaranteed” respect of human rights, then, you need process the state because it isn’t respecting their idiossycransies.
Psychologists work with lack of self-knowledge of most people. Self-aware people know they need first their rights to live. Extreme self-aware know what your weaknesses and strenghts
Yes, I think IQ tests fail to measure self-awareness which is unfortunate because it’s a major part of intelligence (as you once said, the mother ship of intelligence).
One way they could measure it is before each subtest on the WAIS, ask the subject “on a scale of one to 11, with 11 being your greatest strength strength, and 1 being your greatest weakness, how well do you think you will do on this test?”
Then at the end, the psychologist could correlate the predictions with the person’s actual performance on each test. The higher the correlation, the higher the self-awareness. And then self-awareness could be just another sub-test score used to calculate full-scale IQ.
Of course this would be biased in favor of people who have taken different kinds of IQ tests in the past, but then the entire IQ tests is biased that way.
An example of someone with high self-awareness is blogger Robert Lindsay:
https://robertlindsay.wordpress.com/
Huuummm… i don’t know if Lindsay have higher self-awareness* Why*
Seriously?
Yes, partially, it could be work because higher the sofistication of self knowledge, higher will be self awareness. People who are more precise about their cognitive and intelectual traits, by logic, will tend to be more self aware than classical narcisistic ones, who will tend to be exagerated about his strenghts and mitigate his weakness.
“Huuummm… i don’t know if Lindsay have higher self-awareness* Why*”
lol, it’s funny to see that when you know that he just banned you and treated you like a stupid favelas criminal.
Pumpkin, don’t you think that self awareness could in fact be social intelligence ? (understanding you like you understand others)
Pumpkin, don’t you think that self awareness could in fact be social intelligence
I think you may be on to something here. People who are good at “impression management” (which requires high self awareness) tend to have greater social success. I guess that’s social intelligence? (or maybe emotional intelligence? I wonder what Santoculto thinks)
I believe a similar technique was used in Visser et al.’s (2006) study of multiple intelligences.
Fascinating. Self-awareness was one of Gardner’s 7 multiple intelligences, which I prefer to call 7 parts of intelligence, one of which (bodily-kinesthetic ability) is not part of intelligence at all.
”Seriously?”
You asked to me**
The problem about give adjectives” without substantial or specialized explanation**
I think Lindsay have above average self awareness, but, in my opinion, self awareness undoubtedly will result in real, practical wisdom, a very good analytical-critical thinker, the genius level.
I already said to Lindsay that he is very good linguistic thinker and probably i have no doubt that he have other predicatives, but self awareness such as self knowledge, the practice of self awareness, he is not very good than verbal linguistic skills Or he’s not good at genius level.
Complementing my thinking in the first comment.
The self conscious put their rights ahead of their duties. He wonders why to do this or that.
The slave put their duty ahead of their rights. This explains why the dysfunction in human societies, because most is that slave, no question about absolutely nothing or very superficial way. The result, are literally treated like cattle, they do not know what their individual transcendental paths or are too weak to fight against the tide and its mammals impulses make them regress to slave status.
And also they do not negotiate with their rulers. And many of them, when they acquire awareness of this need, do not know how to do it.
“It is rare to have such a large split but it’s not rare for someone with such an extreme verbal IQ.”
It’s not rare at all among gifted people, verbal is more g loaded than performance and thus less sensible to stress and gifted people are more easily stressed.
“But the same problems that prevent you from reaching your potential on an IQ test could prevent you from reaching your potential in life.”
could be true in is case because he have adhd but it is not always the case because you can find IQ test very stressful because it’s appear to be the ultimate mesure of your intelligence and you can on the contrary be more relax in real life situations because there isn’t such an ego stake.
btw, do you know the usefulness of symbols and codes test in WAIS IV because they seem totally inadapted for gifted people who are usually scoring around 100 which doesn’t the speed of their nervous system at all.
Part 1
This is an interesting question. First of all, I don’t think it’s a good idea to do career assessment using IQ scores alone; sub-test scores have too much measurement error to be a good predictor of specific abilities, plus personality factors are just as important as IQ in determining success in most careers.
As you alluded to, FSIQ is the only score that should be strongly considered in predictions of future success. FSIQ is the most g-loaded, by far, compared to the other test scores. Unfortunately, many professional psychologists lead people to believe that sub-test score scatter matters. It usually doesn’t.
Secondly, many thinkers claim one should consider three factors in career choice: autonomy, purpose, mastery. I’ve seen many writers on the psychology of motivation discuss these three factors, and Charles Murray in his book “Human Accomplishment” claims these factors lead people to greatness. Autonomy is the ability to act independently, purpose is a sense that your job has some greater meaning than simply being a means to your survival, and mastery is the sense of challenge one derives from accomplishing goals in one’s profession (the challenge level can’t be too high or too low, it has to be just right).
You see, a lot of people are overly concerned about the specific subject of their career path. They worry, “should I study medicine, or engineering. If engineering, industrial, civil, mechanical, or electrical? What specific sub-area within those particular fields?” as if they can predict ahead of time what career path they’ll end up in. All of this is pointless. Nowhere is it encoded in your genes that one becomes “an electrical engineer working on signal processing at a medium-sized company in the Silicon Valley.” While your IQ and interests and personality traits are genetically determined, that doesn’t mean your career path is. To use the terminology of behavioral genetics, there is a “non-shared environmental component” (maybe shared too?). Thus, I believe most people can be happy in a wide assortment of careers. There’s no point in trying to figure ahead of time what you should do with your life.
Of course, if your main concern is money and money only, there’s gonna be significant limitations in your choice of future career path. Read websites like Lion of the Blogosphere (who has written endlessly on career paths, I have an entire file of bookmarks on my computer with his writing on career choice), Marginal Revolution (http://marginalrevolution.com/marginalrevolution/2012/01/a-simple-theory-of-why-so-many-smart-young-people-go-into-finance-law-and-consulting.html, why do so many people go into finance, law and consulting/), and Anatoly Karlin (http://akarlin.com/2011/02/guide-to-lifestyle-design/, has written many blog posts and useful career skills). The reason why I say there are limitations in terms of career choice? (hold on I need to go right quick. I’ll be back with part 2 in 30 minutes).
I meant *Anatoly Karlin (has written many blog posts about useful careers skills). Don’t mind the typographical and usage errors in the post above.
Part 2
Only a handful of jobs have the potential to lead to 6-figure careers. Those are largely limited to finance and consulting. There people that get these jobs mostly go to Ivy League schools or similar (Stanford, Northwestern, U of Chicago, UC Berkeley, U of Michigan, etc.)
Of course, not everyone who goes to these schools end up on cushy career paths. Once you get to these places, you have to have the ability to network, and network well.
Or you can major in STEM, and get a decent $70,000 job no matter which school you go to. Of course, STEM is hard and Lion of the Blogosphere has written about the overratedness of STEM and how computer programming (a popular STEM career) sucks.
Unfortunately, at the end of the day, your success in life all comes down to you genes and their impact on your intelligence and personality profile. Are you smart enough? Sure, you might be, but how do you score on HEXACO (Honesty-Humility, Emotionality, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Openness). Oh, you score high Honesty-Humility and low Extraversion? Whelp, I feel sorry for you. No money coming your way.
Law is vastly overrated, by the way. Most lawyers who go to TTT (third tier toilets), end up in $100,000 of debt and $30,000 a year jobs.
Cale,
AGAIN, cale a sua maldita boca.
Lindsay is a joke, mentally retard who defend north Korea’s, this is not wisdom, special thing what retards infantile here no have.
Lindsay think he is a beautiful men, of course a joke with bad taste.
The ”favelas” term used by Mad max show how hypocrite this idiotic murrican are. If i live in favelas, i would be pride about it OR it do not influence my self perception, less by mad max rich stupid liberal.
Hb-d iqtards are very stupid and dangerous. Any real ”men” here, those who have virtuosity and real, practical wisdom. A bunch of dangerous stupid losers who have megalomaniac fantasies, a slaves.
Robert Lindsay is extremely arrogant and narcissic but we can’t deny the fact that in his blog he have his own rules, even if they are irrationnal and based on his enormous ego.
Btw, he doesn’t seem as smart as he pretend to be, may be it’s because he is getting older.
I can tell this also because I was the supposedly Chris Langan who show up on the section comment of his blog and he didn’t notice anything even though I am not an english speaker…
And here the real stupid “IQ fetichists”:
http://www.4g-highiqsociety.org/
😉
Iqtard: those who think they are smarter because their iq or psychometric scores. They mistakes intelligence concept, personality influence in intelligence, unfair and stupid human ”meritocracies”… Iqtards are moved by their narcisism to believe dogmaticaly that iq is only the one best way to measure intelligence. Iqtards despise empathy influence and believe most of geniuses are like ”termites”. Like any dogmatic ones, iqtards are not concerned with facts… improvement of cognitive science.
Even some very smart pp may can believe in the simplistic iq= intelligence theory it is not prove that they are right. Remember, smarter ones are not Always right. Many times, they aren’t…
Iqtards believe iq scores can substitute a complete psychological avaliation.
Iqtards think multiple intelligences theory are wrong because this theory if accepted by mainstream would finish with their iq-supremacy. You need prove in the real world your real cognitive and intelectual capacity ( generally, specific capacity).
I don’t deny relevance of iq tests to help on a complete psychological avaliation or analysis, i’m deny this distortion caused by ignorance, lack of intelectual curiosity and bad faith by iqtards.
Uglisay mad max banned me three times, is a common thing there, shut up, infantile little brain.
Uglysay look like The Mad magazine’s.
Part 3
The number lesson of the HBD-sphere should be, “IQ is a powerful determinant of success at the group level, not so much at the individual level.” Why? Because as HBD Chick says, there’s more to HBD than IQ.
In my own life, I have seen several examples of the phenomenon where high-IQ people end up in mediocre jobs. I knew a guy in high school who scored 2350/2400 on the SAT (one of only three people who scored higher than me in HS) and majored in electrical engineer at a prestigious local university. I’m sure his IQ was above 130, as he made mostly A’s with little effort and spent most of high school partying. Once he got to university, he promptly began flunking all of his classes. He failed out after his 3rd semester and I lost contact with him after that. Last I heard, he was working in IT in a $60,000 a year position: not bad, but not what’s expected of a genius.
On the flip, I knew several other people in high school and college that scored close to perfect on the SAT. They also likely had IQs above 130. Most of them are very successful right now, either making 6 figures on Wall Street, or enrolled in med school, or in graduate school studying difficult subjects.
As for me? With a WAIS-IV IQ of 120, I’ve basically met my pre-determined destiny. I’m working on a Phd in a social science program at a second-tier school. I’m not significantly smarter or dumber than anyone else in my program; in fact, for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m with a group of people that I fit in with intellectually. Not that I always get along them ideologically; most of my peers are radically liberal and repeat the same liberal totems that all social science people seem to take as the gospel. Ironically, as one of the few black people in the program, I’m probably the only one who consciously believes in HBD (of course, I can’t say that for sure).
My sub-score spread, if I remember correctly, was 130 verbal, 108 processing speed, 113 perceptual reasoning, and 106 working memory. Very large spread. The psychologist who administered the test said this may or may not indicate attention and/or anxiety issues. I took some other tests that came out in the above-average range. None of them indicated significant executive function issues, so I’m not too worried.
I don’t really need any test to tell me my strengths/weaknesses or my personality, because, as SantoCulto might say, I’m very self-aware. I’ve always struggled to some extent with attention and anxiety issues, which I’ve dealt with with exercise and meditation. It works for me, although your mileage may vary. I abused alcohol for a time, particularly in social situations, which hurt me significantly after a while. I’m prone to not getting hangovers so I tend to take drinking to dangerous limits. A series of events which I won’t discuss here turned me off from alcohol for good.
I think there’s a few things to keep in mind regarding IQ: if it’s above 115-120 or so, you’re good to go. You’re likely capable of most career paths, so maybe you should be more concerned about conscientiousness/work ethic, the second most important factor after IQ. Of course, given that work ethic is largely genetically determined, don’t think you can magically turn yourself into a workhouse that’ll work 100 hour weeks in order to reach success. So just be happy with what you have.
first sentence: The # 1 lesson… Can’t stop with the silly errors!!!!!
”not bad, but not what’s expected of a genius”
You need read more Bruce Charlton blog to begin avoid this mistakes about iq and genius. Genius, what i had read in some texts, are not the same that what we define as ”inteligent” or highly skilled convergent-technical-thinker”.
Genius is someone with very higher mental energy and brilliant to produce remote and useful associations und ideas. Most of convergent-technical talented thinkers” who you and me know aren’t like that.
Mental energy, how work is distributed inside brain (and combined with peripheric nervous system), seems a component which can explain why brain size is not decisive. Little brains with higher energy can be more useful than greater brains with little energy. Cold areas need higher conservation of energy to live without western technology conforts.
I expected from genius, really high creativity (recreational or directly useful), really high perception and not ”higher income or even scholastic brilliance”. Again, iq tests creators was well meaning to think in cultural neutrality but ”still the flea circus”. Reality is your faces.
If you was able to understand firstly, ”precociously”, the whole or at least great part of context which encapsulates murrican societies than their pairs in the social science, then you are objectively smarter than him.
William Shakeaspeare was a relative unusual case of a genius money-success. William was probably non-empathetic and aware about social problems of english society. If he had tried to change the cultural landscape which was encapsulated probably have perished in poverty or even persecuted politically.
Give importance to ideas-mothership is a sign of some real wisdom. People who give greater importance to terciary ideas or even wrong- conceptual ideas like ”social warriors” no have real and practical wisdom because they are unable to capture reality, what Hbd talk many times but without complete analysis (political neocon bias).
Real smart people are precise (specially in terms of survivability, zumbified spiders versus parasitic wasps… zombie-spiders continue to produce beautiful web but she will be killed by wasps…) and i think iq may correlates slightly well with cognitive and intelectual precision but no like ”120 iq dude” WILL BE more precise than ”110 iq dude”, may…
The only advice worth anything is to find what you love to do and do it.
Cognitive profiles only reflect crutches. An individual who from age 0-5 has grokked reality by picturing concepts in his or her head is going to continue relying on that skill and will develop the other skills only to the extent necessary to use the main skill. Lucky individuals frequently encounter pedagogy that forces them to develop the other skills to a high level in order for them to use their “crutch,” main skill. Most people are not lucky.
Even among people with the same IQ, the way material is presented and taught can have a wide impact on who struggles and who doesn’t.
Is this worth doing for me? I’m a computer programmer that was placed in a highly gifted program during grades 1-6. It was one step above that district’s gifted program and required an IQ of >140 on two standardized tests in kindergarten. Since IQ is age relative, I wonder how much mine has fallen now that I’m an adult. I’m not sure I would do anything useful with the information, and I don’t know how much it costs.
Is what worth doing for you? Taking the WAIS? No. Not unless you have a strong interest in intelligence. It’s an expensive test & it’s not really designed for career guidance
I took a full scale iq test and scored >150 verbal iq, and about 120 performance iq. Hasn’t been a problem for me – it definitely seems superior to having the reverse split.
Agree with the above poster about the usefulness of being challenged on your weeknesses. Can hold concepts and logic so easily in my head that I have never had to rely on, say, 3D manipulation, and I regret this. Certain lsat puzzles lean on performance iq for sure
My advice is: money lender
People get the impression that Jews are smarter because they are in the spotlight.
They own the publishing companies so works and opinions that get published tend to be overwhelmingly Jewish.
They own the newspapers and visual media outlets so all those works get publicity. Even the nobel prize has become an institution seeking out and acknowledging the Jewish accomplishment.
Just because a panel of Jewish experts (existing for any cause)says the Jewish work is the best does not make it so.
Here’s how it goes:
Create an “Institute for Such-and-Such”, appoint your friends as the board of directors, they vote you to be the CEO, your uncle publishes your book which is basically a rehash of your dissertation and suddenly your an “expert”. Your cousin calls oprah and fox news and you get street cred. Any dissention is anti-semitism or racism.
In other words, they are vigorous self promoters and own the means by which to do so.
They definitely have average Iqs 105-110 but this is all verbal iq mostly used for swindling rather than science!
They invented the Jewish myth of intelligence by claiming quarter and 1/8th Jews as full Jews for their science awards statistics, as well as there are numerous science and math awards yet the two most publicized by the Jew media are the fields/wolf/Nobel who’s awards committees are full of Jews or people under the influence of Jews.
The deception is easily apparent by looking at the physical characteristics of so called Jews.
Scarlet johanson is a good example of someone who looks 100% European yet the Jews claim her as one of them since she has a Jewish grandmother but since part Jews are counted as full Jews her grandmother could been something like a quarter Jew or a half Jew!
Also see the myth of meritocracy by ron unz Jew sat scores and Richard Lynn gives a estimate of Jew iq of only 107.
Jews don’t dominate on sat’s, IMO, any objective competition such as programming, engineering, hacking etc
They only dominate in popularity awards and media exposure
Also, America is a White proletariat country. And the White majority demographic are the dregs from the old world, relatively comparing to Jews and East Asians, who are the better representatives of their respective nations. So this of course, makes White people look inferior.
as someone who tests for a living (after a career in test development & academia) i must say:
SUPERB ADVICE!
you did better than 99% of psychologists in interpreting results!
that person’s definitely in the right career field.
it’s amazing to me how most people gravitate to fields that use their strengths.
this person’s AD/HD-ness means they’d probably do better at a large firm with lots of underlings to do the nitty gritty detail research stuff & the clerical filing – AD/HD lawyers have trouble if they’re self-employed & have no one to keep them organized!
Great job – especially with not being fooled by the Verbal > Nonverbal stuff (& how that’s more likely to happen with gifted Verbal folks:) & with not BS-ing up the interpretation like so many psychs who know just enough stats to be dangerous!
Thank you so much! Coming from a man as brilliant, multilingual and educated as yourself, that’s very high praise! I envy your job btw! That would be one of my dream jobs!
Hey Pumpkin,
Here is a paper that I’ve never seen in the English speaking HBDsphere, It comes from Lynn’s pseudo-laboratory the “Ulster Institute for Social Research”, some kind of Europe-based Pioneer Fund offshoot.
The unsciencificity of the paper is obvious from the first line but they claim to have found what you are all looking for: the gene variants that create race differences in IQ and achievement.
Take a look and let me laugh.

Sorry for the late comment, but I just discovered this blog. Incidentally, as a kid, my IQ was tested at 139 verbal and @ 105 performance. I’ve always been interested in what such a disparity could indicate, but I haven’t been very successful in finding that out. I can provide a copy of the test if interested. Thanks!
Yes a copy would be very helpful
I just found my psych eval when cleaning out my grandmother’s house. Lol. Is there an email I can send it to? Thx
My email’s on the left side bar above the search box which is above the comment roll.
Look forward to hearing from you.
There’s a great potential for there to be a disability, or, it could just be that you have a strength in the usage of language.
How would results with a high processing speed and working memory over Verbal or Performance IQ be interpreted. I’ve only ever seen one instance of that happening online.
What is a threshold IQ level for a Math Professorship? Is it possible at an IQ of 110?
