Commenter Cale asked:
I am not judging you Pumpkin but what do you like in these movies ?
It’s a real question, I really want to know the answer.
If you think about it, it’s not terribly surprising that an HBDer should be a horror fan. I used to boast that I was one of the few HBDers who was motivated by the science and had no political bias. While it’s true I have no political bias (I’m actually one of the least political people I know; I don’t even vote), I’m not entirely motivated by the science.
I’m also motivated by the childhood love of horror I never outgrew. It’s not that I’m racist, but I’m like a casting director who says “you know those Orientals would be perfect as the genetically superior race” and “those blacks would be perfectly cast as the primitive hyper-sexual aggressive race”. So just as horror fans don’t hate the characters in a horror movie, I have nothing but love for all human races, but I’m fascinated when different different races get reduced to grotesque stereotypes, because as a horror fan, it makes for macabre imagery.
So you have the genetically superior big brained Oriental:
The obsequious Indian:
The ape-like blacks:
The native American savage:
The animalistic arab:
The manipulative Jew:
Virtually every racial stereotype could be its own horror film. Is it any surprise that a horror fan would be drawn to HBD?
Lol, fascinanting.
Do you actually have some examples of horror movies with HBD in them ?
(If you have a lot, just say the bests)
Racial HBD themes? There are very few considering the liberalism of Hollywood.
It’s not really a horror movie but Quest for Fire kind of lay the foundation for me to later get interested in HBD as i explained
https://pumpkinperson.com/2014/10/11/my-fascination-with-hbd-started-when-i-saw-the-movie-quest-for-fire/comment-page-1/
Some liberals have accused the movies King Kong & Planet of the Ape of having a subliminal racial HBD message
I saw the article on Quest of Fire but given the article you just wrote shouldn’t you have some examples ?!
You must don’t like blockbusters because they are often at the opposite of HBD because of an unrealistic proportion of intelligents (and even nerdy !!!) Blacks in them.
When I see these Blacks genius in the movies it made me really laugh because it is so incoherent. You have this guy with a naturally developped musculature (hide by clothes) and his really deep voice being a nerdy little computer expert… 😀
These kind of thing can make me laugh just by thinking of it.
I’m black and muscular and program…
I didn’t it wasn’t possible, but in real life Blacks tend to be less nerdy than Whites as muscular people are in comparaison to less muscular people.
Say*
And White people are like ghosts: creepy and evil!
Just kidding, of course…
LOL! I wish i had thought of that. I didn’t know what to put for whites
Jigsaw is a good exemple of that.
Horror movies tend to represent the fears of whites.
Liberal whites are afraid of low-class whites: Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hills Have Eyes. Both feature dysfunctional white groups who are incestuous = rednecks/hillbillies/etc.
Conservative whites are afraid of outsiders lurking in plain sight, which is actually represented by “normal-looking” psychotic individuals, e.g. “Psycho,” and conservative whites are also afraid of pagan religion/modernity’s lack of moral fiber = Rosemary’s baby, the Wicker Man, etc.
Straight-ahead stuff.
Heavy metal music, like horror, appeals to fears of white people by using metaphorical stand-ins for the object of their distaste.
I’m not really sure though that main audience for either of those art forms is predominantly conservative whites. Whites, at least nowadays, who are into either horror and heavy metal tend to be high openness and kind of nerdy (this was probably different 20 years ago).
Nerds are into horror? I always thought nerds were more into sci fi & superheroes.
You meant to say Sci-Fi, and perhaps Sci-Fi Horror. Still, it’s only White people who produce the best Sci-Fi shows. No East Asians, blacks or Jews, who are merely actors at best.
German HR Geiger produced the Xenomorph Alien, where as the Japanese only came up with Godzilla.
Horror films are also very white. Part of the huge popularity of slasher films is they depicted the uniquely white American experience (i.e. summer camp, the suburbs etc). When these films started including hip hop stars to get a more diverse audience, the original fan base rebelled.
That’s because Sci-Fi melds technological progress and science, a feature of Western civilization but really not unique to Western civilization, with advanced moral philosophy, which has had its height in and with Western civilization. HBD is also unfortunate in that it overlooks the distinctive achievements of western culture, its philosophy.
Have you seen the movie Casino Pumpkin ?
Not an horror film but the two main characters are best friends who are of totally different from am evolutionnary perspective:
There is the very “r” one, Nicky Santoro (Joe Pesci) who are a very violent and impulsive Italian guy.
And there is the very “K” one, Ace Rothstein (Robert De Niro) who is a smart, calm and hardworker Ashkenazi Jew. He is never loose a bet because is predictions based on rationnal facts are always exact.
You have a good taste in movies my friend. I just saw Casino recently. Ace Rothstein was very smart, even cunning, but also beta- his wife kept cheating on him and he stayed with her.
In the first Planet of the Apes, there is 3 types of apes which could match with the 3 major races:
-The smart and empathic apes(Chimpanzee?) which correspond to Asians. They are smallest apes.
-The violent and stupid ones (Gorilla?) which are the Blacks.
-The powerful and evil ones (Orangutan?) which are the Whites. If I remember well, they are the tallest.
Planet of the Apes is an allegory about white supremacy and racism. The entire cause for outrage and concern is that an assumed inferior populous now rules the assumed superior populous. And the reveal at the end is designed to show that the distinction — between outrage for the oppressed and complacency — turns on that assumption.
Or in terms you will understand: all of the apes represent how whites view blacks.
